In 2021, the non-fungible token (NFT) market experienced explosive growth. Data from DefiLlama.com shows that the total historical trading volume of 100 top NFT collections has surpassed $20.13 billion, spanning six blockchains: Ethereum, Solana, Immutable X, Binance Smart Chain, Arbitrum, and Terra. This data underscores the frenzy surrounding NFTs in 2021.

Top Volume: CryptoPunks and Bored Apes

In terms of volume, CryptoPunks leads with $2.98 billion in all-time sales and 3,286 owners. It is followed by Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) with $1.04 billion and 5,961 owners. Decentraland recorded $930.98 million, ranking third with 6,051 owners.

Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC) takes fourth place with $513.23 million and 10,711 owners. The Sandbox ranks fifth with $450.7 million and 17,315 owners. Other top-10 collections include Cool Cats ($239.3 million), SuperRare ($237.94 million), Cryptoadz ($204.29 million), Parallel Alpha ($202.87 million), and Punks Comic ($181.46 million, 5,912 owners).

Projects with the Most Owners

Regarding owner count, Town Star tops the list with 31,721 owners, followed by Parallel Alpha with 30,250. The Sandbox assets have 22,387 owners, and Adidas Originals has 18,869. Notably, Adidas Originals, a relatively new NFT project, generated $38.3 million in sales in a short period, with a floor price of approximately $3,523. BAYC holds the highest floor price at $193K, followed by Infnity Personality Pod Sale at $79,173. The lowest floor price belongs to Levana Dragons at $12.00.

The NFT market's 2021 boom is evident, and these figures indicate that digital collectibles may continue to play a significant role in the future.
