21Shares said in a post on X that Bitcoin’s seller exhaustion metric is now around 0.007, placing it in the lowest 0.3% of all readings recorded since 2010. According to the firm, the indicator has only fallen to similarly low levels 11 times in its history. In each of those prior cases, Bitcoin’s price was higher one year later, with a median gain of 155%. The firm also added an important caveat: the signal should not automatically be read as a market bottom. 21Shares noted that in earlier instances, Bitcoin still saw periods of short-term downside before the broader reversal took hold. The post frames the metric as a historically rare condition tied to seller exhaustion, while stopping short of calling an immediate bottom in the market.
