According to CoinGlass data cited by ChainCatcher, the cryptocurrency market recorded $525 million in total liquidations over the past 24 hours. Long liquidations reached $387 million while short liquidations stood at $137 million, pointing to a heavily leveraged bullish positioning that was caught by a price decline.

Bitcoin led with $186 million liquidated — $175 million from longs and $11.01 million from shorts. Ethereum saw $102 million in liquidations, with $88.33 million longs and $13.50 million shorts. Solana recorded $19.0 million, dominated by $18.16 million in long liquidations against just $0.85 million in shorts. Across these major assets, long liquidations vastly outpaced shorts, highlighting forced exits of overleveraged bulls during the sell-off.
