XRPL order-book monitors detected 310 sell-side alerts in six hours, with most of the activity linked to a single wallet associated with Bitstamp. During the observed window, that address repeatedly posted sell orders of about 1 million XRP, canceled them, and re-entered them every 15 to 30 seconds, sending nearly 310 million XRP through the order book.
Repeated 1 Million XRP Orders Came From One Address
The alerts were triggered by large order-book movements tied to specific wallet addresses, according to an XRPL validator tracking whale activity. The pattern was unusually fast: sell orders appeared, disappeared, and returned again in short intervals. Some of the flagged wallets were linked to exchanges and institutional participants, while others had no visible exchange connection or known reputation, pointing to mixed activity across the flow.
That distinction matters. Repeated order placement and cancellation does not automatically mean the same amount was sold into the market. In many cases, this kind of behavior changes the visible depth of the book and can shape trader sentiment, even if it does not translate into immediate executed selling pressure.
XRP Stays in a Fragile Technical Zone
Price action remains weak. The report says XRP is still holding above major support near $1.21, but the market has not confirmed a clear local bottom and upside momentum remains limited.
Attempts to break above the $1.56 resistance area were rejected, and that zone lines up with a key Fibonacci retracement level. On shorter time frames, XRP has been moving sideways between micro-support at $1.40 to $1.45 and micro-resistance at $1.49 to $1.55. That structure points to consolidation, not a confirmed reversal.
Levels Traders Are Watching on the Upside and Downside
The technical thresholds in the source are clear. A stronger recovery would require a decisive move above $1.55, followed by a break over $1.67, which would signal improving momentum. On the downside, support remains in the $1.19 to $1.36 range, an area that previously drew buying interest.
For now, the heavy sell alerts and the weak chart structure are showing up at the same time. Still, the order-book activity by itself does not prove that an equivalent amount of XRP was actually sold.
