The incident follows an earlier loss on BNB Chain in which 79thVault may have lost about $12.5 million due to a private key leak. According to the same report, the team’s operating hot wallet was usually used only for small transfers to a rewards pool. More recently, the address sent out 2.01 million 79AU from a trading pair to external addresses in seven transactions. The individual transfers were 10,000, 100,000, 100,000, 300,000, 500,000, 500,000 and 500,000 tokens.
