ADA was trading at $0.1509 at the time of reporting, down 4.79% over the past 24 hours. Even with that decline, Cardano’s ecosystem is pushing ahead with a new DeFi initiative. AlphaGrowth has launched the PRIME program, which is designed to bring in fresh liquidity, increase network usage, and strengthen Cardano’s DeFi footprint in its region.

PRIME proposal seeks to lift TVL above $290 million

Information shared by Cardanians says the PRIME initiative is focused on new liquidity inflows, deeper user engagement, and a stronger DeFi presence for Cardano. AlphaGrowth, which said it previously supported ecosystems including Compound, Uniswap, and Arbitrum, stated that it helped drive total value locked in those ecosystems above $1 billion. It now plans to request 120 million ADA from the Cardano treasury through on-chain governance, with the stated goal of raising Cardano DeFi TVL from about $90 million to more than $290 million.

TVL, or total value locked, measures the value of assets deposited in DeFi protocols. In practice, it is one of the most watched indicators for ecosystem capital depth and user activity. Based on the proposal details disclosed in the source material, the treasury request is tied to a broader push for liquidity and usage rather than a narrow single-product effort.

Leios public testnet opens a new scalability phase

The Cardano Foundation also announced the launch of the Leios Public Testnet. The foundation described the rollout as a new stage in exploring Cardano’s scalability. The public testnet is meant to support safe trials of network performance improvements while giving developers and the community a venue to assess upgrades to existing functions.

That creates a parallel track inside the ecosystem. One track is aimed at attracting capital into DeFi, the other at improving the chain’s technical capacity. The combination puts liquidity growth and infrastructure testing on the table at the same time.

Technical levels show resistance near $0.1605

On the technical side, ADA remains below the middle Bollinger Band, which sits around $0.1605 and is being treated as the first short-term resistance level. If bullish momentum improves, the price could revisit the $0.1756 to $0.1827 range.

Immediate support is near the lower Bollinger Band at about $0.1497. A break below that level could add to selling pressure. The On Balance Volume indicator is also still trending lower at roughly 44.4 billion, a sign that buying demand has not fully returned.

Education program adds more language support

The Cardano Foundation said its Cardano Blockchain Certified Associate program now supports English, Portuguese, and Spanish. According to the foundation, the program is intended to help participants expand and certify their blockchain knowledge. The wider language support is part of the ecosystem’s effort to broaden access to educational resources.

Cardano is now advancing a treasury-backed DeFi plan, a public scalability testnet, and a wider educational rollout at the same time. Price action remains under short-term pressure, but ecosystem development has not slowed.
