Agriforce Growing Systems (NASDAQ: AGRI) has announced its rebranding to Avax One, marking the launch of the first publicly traded company exclusively focused on the Avalanche ecosystem. The company plans to raise $550 million to build a long-term AVAX treasury strategy, aiming to accumulate over $700 million worth of AVAX.
Fundraising Structure: PIPE and Equity-Linked Instruments
The capital raise includes a $300 million private investment in public equity (PIPE), subject to shareholder approval, followed by an additional $250 million through equity-linked instruments. These funds will be deployed to accumulate AVAX on the open market, positioning Avax One as a core institutional partner within the Avalanche ecosystem.
“The architecture of financial markets is changing, and programmable blockchains like Avalanche are the new foundation. Our mission is to maximize our ownership of this foundational technology, AVAX, on a per-share basis, delivering direct value to our shareholders,” said Jolie Kahn, CEO of Avax One.
Institutional Backing from 50+ Investors
The fundraising is led by Hivemind Capital, with participation from over 50 institutional investors, including Galaxy Digital, Kraken, Falconx, Borderless Capital, and Hashkey Capital. Avalanche, designed for institutional-grade settlement, already supports tokenization initiatives and is secured by $6.2 billion in staked assets.
This rebranding and funding round represent Agriforce's strategic pivot from agriculture to blockchain. Avax One will leverage its publicly traded status to offer traditional investors a compliant channel for indirect AVAX exposure, while deepening institutional engagement with the Avalanche network.
