Crypto analyst Ali Charts said Bitcoin has already bottomed and argued that investors who missed buying below $60,000 should avoid chasing the current move higher. In his view, BTC trading in the $77,000 to $80,000 range may create anxiety for sidelined buyers, but that is not the point to rush in. He said Bitcoin’s short-term holder cost basis has repeatedly acted as an attractive accumulation area in prior bull markets. Looking back at price action from 2022 to 2025, he noted that each time BTC touched or briefly fell below that level, the market later presented a broader buying opportunity and then continued its overall upward trend. According to Ali Charts, the short-term holder cost basis now sits near $71,200. He said waiting patiently for a pullback toward that area could offer a more favorable entry for the next potential leg higher.

He added that Bitcoin’s short-term holder cost basis is currently near $71,200, and said a patient wait for BTC to pull back to that zone could provide a more favorable entry point for the next potential upside move.
