AllUnity has launched SEKAU, a Swedish krona-backed stablecoin. According to Cointelegraph, SEKAU is presented as a fully reserved stablecoin and comes with multi-chain support. The debut adds another product to AllUnity’s stablecoin portfolio.

The token’s main reference asset is the Swedish krona. In the context of the announcement, “fully reserved” describes a stablecoin structure built around reserves backing issuance, while multi-chain support indicates that SEKAU is designed for use across more than one blockchain network rather than being limited to a single chain environment.
The launch is also tied to the European Union’s MiCA framework. The report states that AllUnity’s stablecoin portfolio is regulated under MiCA. With SEKAU, the company extends its stablecoin lineup into a Swedish krona-denominated asset, adding a new fiat currency dimension to its regulated offering in Europe.
