The memorandum also covers the construction of heterogeneous AI computing infrastructure. That setup would connect AMD’s CPUs and GPUs with AI chips from South Korean companies that are described as having strengths in inference, including NPUs. The two sides also aim to build an open AI computing ecosystem with participation from South Korean companies across memory, networking, servers, and software.
