Prominent cryptocurrency analyst Kaleo has predicted that MicroStrategy (MSTR) stock could rally to $1,000, drawing a parallel to the market structure seen in 2021-2022 which he describes as a “repetition.” The forecast comes as Bitcoin stabilizes around $69,000, supported by institutional adoption and ETF inflows.
MicroStrategy’s Bitcoin Position
As of February 2026, MicroStrategy holds 714,644 Bitcoin — representing more than 3.4% of the total circulating supply — acquired at an average price of $76,000 per BTC. Under co-founder Michael Saylor, the company has positioned itself as the largest corporate Bitcoin treasury, consistently raising capital through equity and debt issuances to expand its holdings.
Despite this, the firm reported a Q4 2025 net loss of $12.6 billion, driven by mark-to-market accounting adjustments on its Bitcoin holdings. Nevertheless, MicroStrategy achieved a Bitcoin yield of 22.8% for the full year 2025, exceeding its internal targets and underscoring the long-term viability of its strategy.
Kaleo’s Technical Analysis
Kaleo noted on social media that MSTR’s chart pattern closely resembles the setup observed prior to the 2021-2022 bull run, suggesting a potential repeat. He argues that as Bitcoin consolidates near $69,000, MicroStrategy’s net asset value will expand, allowing the stock to revisit its all-time highs and eventually hit $1,000.
The stock previously surged alongside Bitcoin during the 2024-2025 rally but later corrected. Kaleo emphasized that as long as Bitcoin holds key support levels, MSTR’s discount to net asset value will narrow, attracting further capital.
Broader Market Context
Institutional activity has reinforced the bullish narrative. For instance, Zonda Capital recently expanded its Bitcoin exposure via U.S. ETFs, and several listed companies accumulated 612 BTC during a stablecoin liquidity dip. The crypto market overall shows resilience against inflation and equity volatility, with Bitcoin regaining its safe-haven appeal.
However, analysts caution that MicroStrategy’s balance sheet remains sensitive to Bitcoin price swings. A sustained drop below its cost basis could pressure the stock. At press time, MSTR trades around $720, implying a 39% upside to Kaleo’s target. Investors are advised to conduct their own research before making decisions.
