Anthropic said it will double Claude usage limits for all non-enterprise plans during off-peak hours from March 13 to March 27, 2026. The extra allowance will not count toward users’ normal weekly caps, and standard limits will return once the promotion ends.
The offer applies automatically, with no account changes required. Covered products include Claude on web, desktop, and mobile, along with Cowork, Claude Code, Claude for Excel, and Claude for PowerPoint. Eligible plans are Free, Pro, Max, and Team. Enterprise is excluded.
Most of Taiwan’s daytime hours fall inside the discounted window
Anthropic defines peak time as 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Eastern Time. All other hours are treated as off-peak. In Taiwan, that means the peak window runs from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m., leaving most of the rest of the day covered by the promotion.
For users in Taiwan, the effective off-peak period stretches from 3 a.m. to 8 p.m., covering most normal work and study hours. That makes the temporary increase materially useful for Asian users rather than a narrow overnight-only benefit.
FAQ says no setup is needed and bonus usage is tracked separately
In its FAQ, Anthropic said users do not need to change any settings to receive the extra capacity. The company also said the added off-peak usage will not be counted against the weekly usage limits included in each plan.
After March 27, 2026, usage caps across all time periods will return to standard levels. Anthropic said there will be no changes to plan terms or billing as a result of the campaign.
