Dollar stablecoin protocol Apyx said on Sept. 15 that it has extended the boosted points campaign for aptUSD, with the promotion now set to end in four weeks. During the campaign, users who hold aptUSD can receive a 3.5% APY and 24x Pips through Oct. 12. Apyx also said rewards accrue automatically, participation carries zero fees, and users can exit at any time. Funds committed to the campaign can still be used across DeFi during the promotion. According to the announcement, aptUSD is backed by short-term U.S. Treasuries and cash equivalents, and its target yield tracks the lower bound of the federal funds rate. The token can be swapped via Apyx Swap, with no lock-up, no cooldown period, and no staking or unstaking fees.
