Aster DEX has rolled out a batch of updates that expand its perpetual futures markets, reduce fees for real-world asset (RWA) trading, and introduce new incentive campaigns. The platform now offers perpetuals on multiple crypto tokens, ETFs, and equity-linked assets, alongside a structured airdrop and supply-control mechanism.
New Perp Markets: NOT, BILL, SOXL, and B3
Under the latest expansion, NOT and BILL perps support up to 5x leverage. SOXL provides 3x exposure to a semiconductor ETF, and B3 opens with 3x leverage. Traders on selected pairs receive a 1.2x points boost through May 14 or May 15, depending on the listing date. Additional listings include CFX, IO, and STEEM at 5x leverage, while DRAM ETF perp tracks memory-chip firms like SK Hynix and Samsung at 3x leverage. The expansion also covers BABY, THETA, KNC, CARDS, and DOGS, broadening exposure to AI, gaming, and semiconductor sectors.
RWA Sprint Season 1: Taker Fee Drops to 0.9 bps
Active from May 7 to June 7, the RWA Sprint Season 1 slashes taker fees across all RWA perpetual markets by 3.1 basis points to 0.9 bps, while maker fees become zero. Eligible assets include gold, silver, oil, ETFs (QQQ, SPY), and semiconductor names such as MU and TSM. The move is designed to attract TradFi liquidity and boost on-chain trading activity.
AGT Perpetual Launches with $50K ASTER Reward Pool
The platform also introduced AGTUSDT perpetual trading, backed by a $50,000 ASTER reward pool. Rewards are allocated based on trading fees generated, capped at 3% per trader. The trading window runs from May 7 to May 14. AGT is the native token of Alaya AI, a Web3 data infrastructure project focused on decentralized data labeling and AI training. A 1.2x trading points multiplier applies during the campaign.
Stage-6 Airdrop: 620K Tokens Distributed, Half Burned
In the sixth airdrop round, 620,608.16 ASTER tokens were settled. 310,304.08 tokens were burned, and the remainder was transferred to a treasury contract. The immediate claim window opened on May 4 and expires on June 4. Both burn and claim transactions are confirmed on-chain. The structured burn mechanism aims to enhance token supply transparency and control inflation.
These updates broaden Aster DEX's derivative liquidity and cross-sector coverage while lowering cost barriers for RWA traders. As new listings and incentives unfold through 2026, adoption rates, trading volumes, and incentive sustainability will be closely watched by market participants.
