ASTER is holding a closely watched support range between $0.50 and $0.70, with traders focusing on whether price can reclaim and break through the $0.70-$0.71 resistance area.

ASTER is still holding above a major support region after months of downside pressure and extended consolidation, keeping the market focused on the $0.50 to $0.70 accumulation zone. Analyst CryptoPatel, writing on X, framed the setup around longer-term accumulation rather than current weakness. The post also said fear is still dominating market sentiment.

Descending channel still defines the broader chart

The wider chart structure shows ASTER trading through a prolonged descending channel, with lower highs and lower lows shaping most of the decline. Sellers controlled the trend for a long stretch. That pattern was interrupted after a sharp sell-off in February, when buyers stepped in aggressively near the lower support boundary and triggered a recovery.

Since then, the area between $0.50 and $0.70 has become the main accumulation zone watched by traders. Price has tested that region several times without producing a decisive breakdown. That repeated defense suggests longer-term participants have been willing to absorb supply there. It does not confirm a reversal on its own, but it keeps the accumulation thesis intact while support continues to hold.

Repeated bids near $0.68 keep price inside a narrow range

At the time of writing, ASTER was trading near $0.6805, with a market capitalization of about $1.76 billion and observed daily trading volume above $261 million. On the shorter-term chart, support around $0.68 has been tested repeatedly. Buyers have continued to appear during selling pressure, even with weak daily performance.

During the session, price fell from roughly $0.7167 and slipped below the $0.70 level, giving sellers short-term control early on. That momentum faded later. Buyers repeatedly blocked deeper losses below support, leaving ASTER trapped inside a relatively tight consolidation range. Recovery attempts did show up several times, but each push toward the upper end of the range met resistance.

$0.70-$0.71 remains the first hurdle before higher resistance zones

The immediate level traders are watching is the $0.70 to $0.71 area. Buyers have not yet delivered a sustained breakout there, so the market has not confirmed a broader reversal structure. As long as that ceiling stays in place, consolidation remains the dominant pattern.

On the longer-term roadmap, additional resistance is marked near $0.95 to $1.00, with higher upside levels extending to $1.50 and $2.08. For now, ASTER remains range-bound. Support is still attracting demand on pullbacks, while resistance continues to cap rebound attempts.
