Aster said on Sept. 28 that it has launched Perpetual Grid 2.0 alongside a four-week liquidity mining campaign with a maximum reward pool of 140,000 ASTER. The program runs from Sept. 28 to Oct. 25 (UTC) and is open to users running Perpetual Grid strategies on designated trading pairs, with no registration required. Rewards will be distributed hourly based on each grid strategy’s share of valid trading volume. The base reward pool is 10,000 ASTER per period, with the possibility of additional incentives depending on market conditions and trading activity on the platform. In the first week, the designated pairs are OURA/USD1, POLYMARKET/USD1, and META/USD1. Aster also said Perpetual Grid 2.0 separates automated grid strategies from regular perpetual futures trading through a dedicated Grid Bot sub-account, supports both cross and isolated margin, and allows up to 50 independent grid strategies per account in isolated mode. The company also introduced Grid Marketplace, where users can review strategy data including PnL, ROI, runtime, price range, leverage, and trading volume, and choose to copy or invert strategies.

Designated pairs for week one
The first week covers OURA/USD1, POLYMARKET/USD1, and META/USD1. Users who run Perpetual Grid strategies on those pairs can take part in the liquidity mining campaign.
What changed in Perpetual Grid 2.0
According to Aster, Perpetual Grid 2.0 uses a separate Grid Bot sub-account to split automated grid strategies from regular perpetual futures trading. It supports both cross margin and isolated margin. Under isolated mode, each account can run up to 50 independent grid strategies.
Grid Marketplace goes live
Aster also launched Grid Marketplace. Users can view strategy metrics including PnL, ROI, runtime, price range, leverage, and trading volume. The marketplace also supports copying a strategy or taking the opposite side of it.
