Avici, a provider of banking services on the Solana blockchain, has issued an update on the security incident it faced. In the update, the company announced that refunds have been fully processed, and it is granting an extra 10% cashback in addition. The cost of the refunds was entirely covered by Rain, its card-issuing partner. According to Avici, the scope of the incident was limited solely to Solana card contract balances that had been funded through the company's deposit flow. The standard Avici Solana and EVM wallets, both of which are self-custodial in nature, were not affected in any way. EVM card balances, fiat currency deposits and withdrawals, as well as the token exchange function, all remained unaffected. The relevant Solana contract has already been upgraded, and no further anomalous activity has been detected up to this point. The team is continuing to monitor the situation.
