Baird analyst Ben Kallo released a research note predicting that Tesla (TSLA.O) will deliver approximately 392,900 vehicles in the second quarter and reach a total of 1.68 million deliveries in 2026. In the same note, Kallo wrote that a merger between Tesla and SpaceX (SPCX.O) is 'highly likely', estimating a timeline of 12 to 18 months. He described the combination as 'the ultimate direction', calling it 'clear and compelling' and noting that both companies would benefit from increased scale.

Kallo reiterated his 'Outperform' rating on Tesla stock with a price target of $522. The analyst's views highlight growing speculation about potential integration between Elon Musk's two major ventures—Tesla, the electric vehicle maker, and SpaceX, the aerospace company. If realized, the merger could create unique synergies across technology, manufacturing, and innovation.

Investors and industry observers have long debated the possibility of formal ties between the two firms, though no official announcements have been made. Kallo's analysis adds a fresh perspective to the ongoing discussion about the strategic direction of both companies.
