On June 3, 2026, Bee Network pushed a new feature into its mining app — an AI assistant called Manus. Users can generate websites, apps, designs, and even functional code through a chat-style interface. The team asked the community what they would build first.
Why Launch an AI Tool Now? A Roadmap Play
Manus is a task-execution AI: it takes instructions and delivers a usable output, not just text. Phase 2 of Bee Network focuses on community infrastructure — KYC verification, node systems, and DApp ecosystems. Adding an AI tool expands the platform beyond basic mining, but for users waiting for a token listing, it looks more like a distraction than progress.
Bee Coin Today: Mined but Immobile
The app runs a simple loop: open once every 24 hours, tap the bee button, earn coins at the base rate. New users who join via invitation start with 88 BEE in their balance. Referral bonuses decay: 25% in year one, dropping to 20%, 15%, 10%, and 5% afterward.
Total token supply equals all coins earned by Pioneers, Ambassadors, and Verifiers, plus 25% allocated to the core team. No fixed cap exists; the final number depends on how many people mine before the project reaches 1 billion users.
TGE in Limbo: Six Years, No Date
Bee Network started building its user base in 2020. As of mid-2026, no TGE date has ever been announced. Tokens cannot be withdrawn, sold, or traded. All mined coins remain locked. Many users completed KYC, but TGE progress is zero, fueling community frustration. The official FAQ states no withdrawal is possible in Stage 1 or Stage 2. The listing only unlocks when the project reaches the exchange phase, and the roadmap ties that to community maturity, not a calendar.
The whitepaper frames exchange listing as a Phase 3 milestone, conditional on ecosystem maturity. Phase 3 covers 10 million to 100 million users and includes launching a value exchange marketplace. If the project is currently in Phase 2 and Phase 3 requires a large user base before listing conditions are met, the earliest listing date is likely late 2026. The whitepaper also mentions foundation announcements — core team, advisors, and sponsors — as a pre-listing step. None have been released, leaving the listing update with no firm ground.
Will Bee Follow Pi Network’s Path?
Bee’s trajectory mirrors Pi Network. Pi launched its mining app in March 2019, ran the same daily-tap model, built tens of millions of users over years with no tradeable token, and finally opened its mainnet and exchange listing in February 2025 — roughly six years after launch. Pi never gave firm listing dates; it relied on roadmap phases, KYC requirements, and community growth milestones. Bee Network uses the same language today. If Bee follows that arc, a token listing is possible, but the community should expect a timeline measured in phases completed, not months promised.
