Bee Network has released a new version update, and $BEE Coin now appears under the name Bee Honey. The change affects naming only. User balances remain the same, and the stated conversion rate is still 200 BeeHoney for 1 USDT.
The update does not mean the token has reached its launch stage. According to the published details, $BEE and BeeHoney remain separate assets inside the Bee Network ecosystem, each with a different function and user flow.
$BEE and BeeHoney still serve different roles
The article says $BEE is generated automatically through the homepage’s 24-hour countdown mechanism. It cannot yet be traded, withdrawn, or converted, and that status stays in place until the Bee Network token reaches an exchange listing. BeeHoney works differently: users earn it by completing tasks in the Event Center, it is stored in the reward wallet, and it can be converted directly to USDT on Polygon.
Bee Network also notes that the rollout may take time across all screens. Some parts of the app may still show the older “Coins” label during the transition. Even so, balances and displayed value are unchanged.
Official roadmap still points to a three-phase listing plan
The project’s roadmap breaks growth into three phases. Phase 1 covered the first 1 million users. Phase 2 spans from 1 million to 10 million users and centers on identity verification and trust building. Phase 3 covers 10 million to 100 million users, and that is the point where an exchange listing is planned.
The same roadmap describes three actions that keep the network active: logging in every 24 hours to mine, inviting new users to expand the network, and verifying identities during Phase 2. Mining begins at 1.6 tokens per hour, then halves at each population milestone, eventually reaching zero once the platform reaches 1 billion users worldwide.
KYC batches, BeeGames, and platform activity continue
On May 20, 2026, during the platform’s 520 Bee-Day event, the team opened 100,000 verification slots. It also said it plans to verify close to 1 million users in batches across 2026. The event included a 400,000 Bee-coin prize pool shared by 8,000 winners, with CoinGecko, LetsExchange, and EchobitExchange listed as co-hosts.
The article adds that BeeGames has already gone live with free games and creative tools, alongside a growing user base. A Manus AI-powered tool teased on June 2 was described as something that lets users build Web3 websites rather than only chat with a bot.
No launch date has been announced for Bee Network, and no exchange has been named for the eventual listing. Community reaction remains mixed: some users focus on new features and prize campaigns, while others keep asking for a TGE date and a clearer migration plan.
