ChainCatcher reported that crypto trader Killa (@KillaXBT) shared a screenshot and described the setup on Binance as “textbook,” saying the exchange’s so-called “plunge protection team” is back. According to his post, large bid orders were stacked beneath the spot price of Bitcoin, a structure he said often leads market makers and trading algorithms to step in ahead of those resting bids for a period of time. The screenshot showed multiple horizontal bid levels beginning below roughly $62,000, with the heaviest and most visible buying interest clustered around $58,000 and lower. Killa linked the pattern to the market action on June 6, when Bitcoin fell through $60,000 and large buy orders appeared below the BTC market price on Binance. ChainCatcher also noted Killa’s background as a BTC-focused quantitative trader with more than 200,000 followers on X. The report added that he had called the top of the current bull market in May 2025, opened a short at $74,688 in mid-April, and flipped long during the broad market sell-off on June 5.
