Binance, a leading crypto exchange, will close its centralized NFT marketplace on July 3, 2026. Launched in 2021, the platform supported trading of gaming, art, and other digital collectibles. Users could transact using BNB, BUSD, and other assets, with all NFTs held in custodial wallets for ease of use.
The marketplace once hosted high-profile collections and collaborations, with daily volumes reaching millions of dollars. But trading activity fell as the NFT market cooled. The closure aligns with Binance’s business optimization; the company did not detail the reasons.
After July 3, buying, selling, and listing functions will stop. Transaction history remains viewable. Binance urges NFT holders to withdraw to external wallets before the deadline, as on-chain fees may apply. Users should follow official updates for asset transfer procedures.
