Binance has added Aster to the web version of Binance Wallet, allowing users to trade through Aster’s on-chain order book from a familiar centralized interface. The market is watching Aster’s fee income and its 70%–80% ASTER buyback-and-burn model.

Binance announced on January 14 that the web version of Binance Wallet now supports the decentralized exchange Aster. The update lets users trade through on-chain smart contracts from a familiar centralized interface, narrowing the practical gap between CEX access points and DeFi execution.

Orders Route to Aster’s On-Chain Order Book

According to the published details, trades placed by Binance Wallet users are matched on Aster’s on-chain order book. The integration supports major assets including BNB, ETH, and SOL, and offers leverage of up to 1000x. Margin can also be posted with yield-bearing assets such as asBNB, a setup aimed at improving capital efficiency for active traders.

The change is about more than adding another trading venue. It also creates a direct path for Binance traffic and user capital to reach on-chain infrastructure without asking users to move across multiple interfaces before placing trades.

Fee Revenue and ASTER Buybacks Draw Market Attention

Aster’s trading fees are currently running at about $7 million per week, making protocol revenue distribution a key area of interest. The mechanism cited in the report says that roughly 70% to 80% of fee income is used to buy back and burn ASTER tokens.

ASTER rose to around $0.76 on the day. If Binance sends more trading volume to the protocol, the scale of those buybacks could expand as well. Because the process is visible on-chain, wallet addresses and transaction flows may provide a real-time window into how the deflationary model develops.

Trading Campaign Runs From January 14 to 28

Binance and Aster also launched a joint incentive campaign. Under the official terms, users with at least 5,000 USDT in trading volume between January 14 and January 28 can share a 200,000 USDT reward pool. Participants can also accumulate Aster airdrop points tied to later token distribution arrangements.

In product terms, the integration links a centralized entry point, on-chain trade execution, and a token buyback model in one flow. Whether that flow leads to sustained volume growth will be reflected in Aster’s fee data and in subsequent ASTER buyback-and-burn activity on-chain.
