BingX said it has appointed Kevin Lee as chief strategy officer, putting him in charge of the company’s long-term strategy across platform development, business growth, and ecosystem expansion.
The exchange said Lee will help align BingX’s innovation roadmap with changing market opportunities and user demand.
BingX ties the appointment to its multi-asset expansion
The appointment comes as BingX says it is moving beyond its roots in native crypto asset trading and pushing toward a one-stop multi-asset trading platform. The company said it wants to help users track markets in real time, access a wider range of asset classes, and act on investment opportunities through a smarter trading experience.
As investor behavior changes and correlations across global markets grow stronger, BingX said it is building an integrated platform that links opportunities in digital assets with those in traditional financial markets.
Lee brings experience from crypto and traditional finance
According to BingX, Lee has more than 20 years of experience across institutional finance, electronic trading markets, fintech, and digital assets. Since entering the digital asset industry in 2013, he has held senior management roles at several leading digital asset companies, where he worked on business growth, institutional adoption, and market development.
Before that, Lee worked at JPMorgan, Macquarie Group, and BNP Paribas, with a focus on electronic trading, market structure, algorithmic execution, and fintech in the Asia-Pacific region.
Focus on platform innovation and ecosystem growth
BingX said Lee will now lead the company’s long-term strategic direction in platform innovation, business growth, and ecosystem development. His remit includes strategy initiatives that connect market trends, user behavior, and product innovation.
The company said those efforts are intended to help users follow global market moves and trading opportunities more efficiently while strengthening BingX’s intelligent multi-asset trading experience.
Lee said, “The key to the next era of trading lies not only in offering a broader range of asset classes, but in whether users can seamlessly discover and capture opportunities across markets. As digital assets and traditional finance continue to converge, users are looking for a smarter platform that lets them spot opportunities in real time, participate in markets more easily, and stay connected to the pulse of global markets. BingX is building that kind of platform, and I’m excited to help shape the next generation of trading experience for users worldwide.”
