BingX has listed SKR, the native token of the Solana Mobile ecosystem, and paired the launch with a promotional campaign running from January 21 to January 28. The exchange said users can join new-user reward programs and trading missions to share a total $100,000 prize pool in SKR, alongside fixed-term wealth benefits and additional Xpool points.

SKR sits at the center of Solana Mobile governance

According to the announcement, SKR is used for governance and incentives across the Solana Mobile platform. Its role has become more prominent following the release of Solana Mobile’s second-generation Web3-native smartphone. The token is designed to distribute decision-making power across the ecosystem while encouraging collaboration among builders, users, and hardware partners. That is the core point. SKR is positioned as more than a listed asset for spot traders.

Users can stake SKR to Guardians to take part in governance processes tied to the platform. BingX said those processes include verifying device authenticity, coordinating dApp reviews, and enforcing community standards. Stakers are also rewarded for helping secure the network, giving the token a direct function in incentive alignment as well as participation in ecosystem oversight.

BingX ties the listing to its spot market expansion

BingX described the SKR listing as part of its broader effort to expand spot trading access and connect users with emerging blockchain projects. The company said SKR has attracted attention from an active and growing community, framing the token as one of the more closely watched launches linked to the Solana Mobile ecosystem. The announcement did not provide additional market-pair details, but it clearly placed the listing within BingX’s ongoing push to broaden its spot lineup.

The company profile included in the release states that BingX was founded in 2018 and now serves more than 40 million users globally. It said its product suite covers futures, spot, copy trading, and TradFi offerings, and described itself as one of the top five global crypto derivatives exchanges. The release also noted that BingX has been the principal partner of Chelsea FC since 2024 and became the first official crypto exchange partner of Scuderia Ferrari HP in 2026.
