BIT Asset Management AG, a unit of BIT, has received approval from the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority, or FINMA, to list what it described as Europe’s first spot Bitcoin exchange-traded fund on the Swiss exchange in November. The product will trade under the ticker BBIT. According to the official announcement cited by ChainCatcher, the ETF is built around Switzerland’s high-net-worth wealth pool and opens a compliant route for direct spot Bitcoin allocation through traditional bank accounts. The company framed the launch as a bridge between conventional finance and crypto access within Switzerland’s regulated market structure. The update also included broader business progress at BIT. The firm said it launched U.S. stock and Hong Kong stock services earlier this year. In addition, its custody arm, Cactus Custody, formally rolled out custody services in Switzerland last month. Those moves were presented alongside the ETF listing plan as part of BIT’s expansion across regulated financial and digital-asset infrastructure.
