Digital asset trading platform Bitbase said on Nov. 2 that it has officially upgraded to Bitbase 2.0 and introduced a new brand message, "Focus on value through change." The company also rolled out a new logo and visual identity system across its app, official website, and social media accounts on the same day, alongside the debut of its brand IP, "BENIE." According to Bitbase, the move builds on work completed during its 1.0 phase, which covered core platform construction in products, asset listings, compliance registration, and custody-related security support. The platform said its product lineup now spans spot trading, futures, TradFi, and wealth management services for both retail and institutional users. It also said it has completed FinCEN MSB registration in the United States and AUSTRAC DCE registration in Australia, publishes proof of reserves monthly, and uses Fireblocks for custody security support. Chief Business Officer Nicholas Lo said the 1.0 phase centered on providing users with a secure and trustworthy trading environment, while the 2.0 phase will focus on creating long-term value through products and services. Bitbase added that the brand refresh is the first step in the 2.0 rollout, with more updates on product experience and user participation to be released through official channels.

Digital asset trading platform Bitbase announced on Nov. 2 that it has officially upgraded to Bitbase 2.0 and introduced a new brand message: "Focus on value through change." A new logo and visual identity system went live the same day across the Bitbase app, official website, and official social media accounts. The company also released its brand IP, "BENIE," on Nov. 2.

1.0 phase centered on platform buildout

Bitbase said that since launch, it has pursued its brand commitment to "build trust through market cycles" and has largely completed the foundational work of its 1.0 phase.

  • On products, the platform said its business now covers spot trading, futures, TradFi, and wealth management services, aimed at meeting the main trading needs of both individual and institutional users.
  • On asset coverage, it said listed tokens and trading pairs include mainstream digital assets as well as assets drawing elevated market attention.
  • On compliance, Bitbase said it has completed Money Services Business, or MSB, registration with the U.S. Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, or FinCEN, and Digital Currency Exchange, or DCE, registration with the Australian Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre, or AUSTRAC.
  • On transparency and asset security, the platform said it publishes proof of reserves, or PoR, every month, while custody security support is provided by Fireblocks.

2.0 phase shifts attention to long-term value

Bitbase said the groundwork completed in the earlier phase created the conditions for the 2.0 brand upgrade. On that basis, the company has adopted the message "Focus on value through change" and said it will move from being a trading platform to becoming a value platform.

Nicholas Lo, Bitbase's chief business officer, said: "The focus of the 1.0 phase was to provide users with a secure and trustworthy trading environment. In the 2.0 phase, we will build on that foundation and think more deeply about how to create long-term value for users. Related measures will be introduced gradually through our products and services."

What comes next

Bitbase said the brand upgrade is the first step of its 2.0 plan. Follow-up arrangements involving product experience and user participation will be announced gradually through official channels. Users can get the latest information through the company's official website and official social media accounts.
