Bitcoin extended its advance in the latest market session, rising to $96,326.87 after a 1.3% gain over 24 hours. Trading activity remained heavy, with daily volume at $66.4 billion. The move kept Bitcoin firm while several other large-cap cryptocurrencies moved the other way.

Ethereum slipped 0.4% to $3,320.64, though its 24-hour volume still reached $31.2 billion. XRP posted a sharper decline, falling 2.6% to $2.09. Its daily trading volume came in at $4.1 billion, and market capitalization stood at $127.1 billion. The contrast was clear: Bitcoin added ground, while other major names lost momentum during the same period.

Solana, BNB and Wrapped stETH also moved lower

Solana dropped 0.2% to $144.47, with volume at $6.3 billion. BNB also eased 0.2%, changing hands at $936.38. Its market cap remained above $128.9 billion, while 24-hour volume held at $2 billion. Wrapped stETH followed with a 0.3% decline to $4,066.19, alongside trading volume of $22.9 million.

These declines were relatively modest, but they stood out because they came at a time when Bitcoin was still pushing higher. Price action across the majors did not move in one direction, and that split defined the session.

Smaller tokens posted outsized gains

Outside the top-tier assets, several smaller tokens surged. Legacy Token (LGCT) jumped 326.5% to $0.01022, with trading volume of $238.6K. Kled AI (KLED) rose 67.3% to $0.04241, backed by $5 million in volume.

Decred (DCR) and Dash (DASH) gained 34.6% and 34.8%, while Pirate Chain (ARRR) advanced 22.7%. The data showed that attention was not limited to Bitcoin. A group of smaller and more volatile tokens also drew significant buying interest.

A divided market session

The broader crypto market did not trade in a uniform pattern. Bitcoin held its strength, several major altcoins slipped, and selected smaller tokens rallied sharply. Based on the latest numbers, that split across large caps and emerging assets was the clearest feature of the day’s market action.
