The momentum in the crypto ETF market accelerated further on Wednesday, April 22. Bitcoin ETFs saw net inflows of $335.8 million, extending their winning streak to seven consecutive days, while Ethereum ETFs posted $96.4 million, achieving a ten-day streak of sustained institutional demand.
Bitcoin ETFs: BlackRock IBIT Dominates
Bitcoin ETF trading volume reached $3.03 billion, pushing total net assets back above $100 billion to $100.98 billion. The inflows were overwhelmingly led by BlackRock's IBIT, which attracted $246.9 million—the bulk of the day's demand. Fidelity's FBTC added a solid $56.7 million, Bitwise's BITB contributed $15.4 million, and Ark/21Shares' ARKB recorded $11.9 million. Supporting players included Morgan Stanley's MSBT ($11.3 million), WisdomTree's BTCW ($6.26 million), and VanEck's HODL ($3.9 million). The only fund to see outflows was Grayscale's GBTC, which shed $16.6 million, continuing its steady redemption trend.
Ethereum ETFs: Ten-Day Streak Continues
Ethereum ETFs mirrored the bullishness, with net inflows of $96.4 million on trading volume of $813.35 million, boosting net assets to $13.94 billion. BlackRock's ETHA led the pack at $53.6 million, followed by Fidelity's FETH at $40.62 million. Grayscale's Ethereum Mini Trust gathered $11.37 million, highlighting demand for low-cost exposure. However, Grayscale's ETHE saw outflows of $9.2 million, yet the net result remained strongly positive.
XRP Sees Modest Inflows, Solana Stalls
In the smaller segment, XRP ETFs recorded modest net inflows of $2.42 million, primarily driven by Bitwise's product, with trading volume of $11.07 million and net assets at $1.09 billion. In contrast, Solana ETFs saw zero inflows during the session, with no trading activity, leaving net assets flat at $887.92 million. This indicates selective investor interest across assets.
Overall, the sustained inflows into Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs signal strong institutional capital entering the crypto market, while XRP and Solana show divergence. The recovery momentum is now fully accelerating.
