Bitcoin spot ETF inflows rebounded sharply even as broader market pressure remained in place. On Oct. 20, BlockBeats reported, citing QCP Capital, that Bitcoin fell about 1% over the past 24 hours while Ether dropped 1.4%. Weaker Asian equities and rising oil prices added to the strain on risk assets.
Spot Bitcoin ETFs post strongest daily inflow in a month
In the U.S., spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded about $526.6 million in net inflows on Monday, the highest daily total in one month. BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) accounted for about $665.2 million of that figure, marking its biggest single-day net inflow since October 2025. Products tied to Fidelity and Grayscale, by contrast, posted outflows.
Spot Ether ETFs moved in the opposite direction, with $103.3 million in net outflows. That marked a fourth consecutive trading day of withdrawals and suggested that recent buying interest has been focused on Bitcoin rather than the wider crypto market.
QCP Capital flags spillover risk from U.S. equities
QCP Capital analysts said that if U.S. stocks keep falling and trigger broader deleveraging, the pressure could spread into crypto markets. In that scenario, Bitcoin’s $80,000 support level could come under test.
The firm also said risk assets could find support if Treasury prices keep rising, real yields fall and the U.S. dollar weakens. If the equity sell-off continues instead, the $80,000 level in Bitcoin will remain a key area to watch.
Macro backdrop remains tight
On the macro side, the yield on the 10-year U.S. Treasury stood at about 5.13%, while Brent crude was close to $110 a barrel. Higher energy prices have added to inflation concerns.
Markets expect the Federal Reserve to leave rates unchanged next week, though prediction markets have already priced in the possibility of a 25-basis-point rate increase next month.
