Bitcoin spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) notched another $1 billion+ day on Friday, marking the second consecutive session with such strong inflows, while total assets under management hit a new all-time high. Ethereum ETFs also saw a robust $204.8 million inflow, underscoring sustained institutional appetite.
Bitcoin ETFs Reach $150.6B in AUM
According to market data, bitcoin ETFs have now recorded six straight days of net inflows, with Friday's net inflow surging to $1.03 billion. BlackRock's IBIT dominated once again, attracting $953.52 million in new capital. Other notable contributors included Ark 21shares' ARKB ($23.51M), Grayscale Bitcoin Mini Trust ($20.93M), VanEck's HODL ($20.01M), Bitwise's BITB ($6.41M), and Invesco's BTCO ($5.30M). Notably, no bitcoin ETF reported any outflows on the day.
Trading volume for the bitcoin ETF cohort soared to a new record of $6.6 billion, and total net assets climbed to $150.6 billion. This segment now represents 6.43% of bitcoin's total market capitalization, a clear sign of growing institutional conviction.
Ethereum ETFs Continue Growth
Ethereum spot ETFs kept pace with a steady net inflow of $204.82 million on Friday. BlackRock's ETHA led with $137.08 million, followed by Grayscale's Ethereum Mini Trust ($25.51M), Fidelity's FETH ($11.99M), and Grayscale's ETHE ($9.96M). Other inflows came from Bitwise's ETHW ($8.60M), VanEck's ETHV ($6.59M), and 21Shares' CETH ($5.09M).
Total trading volume for Ethereum ETFs reached $1.4 billion, and their net assets rose to $13.53 billion. The sustained momentum suggests that institutional interest in ether-based exposure remains strong, mirroring the bitcoin ETF trend.
Market observers believe that these consecutive billion-dollar days mark a pivotal shift in institutional adoption of digital assets, with ETFs acting as a primary vehicle for mainstream capital deployment. As the week ended, the ETF market showed no signs of fatigue, hinting at further growth ahead.
