The momentum showed no sign of slowing. On April 20, U.S. spot crypto exchange-traded funds posted a fifth consecutive day of net inflows across major assets. Bitcoin ETFs once again led the charge, taking in $238.37 million, while Ether ETFs extended their winning streak to eight days. Smaller tokens like XRP and Solana also joined the rally.
Bitcoin ETFs: BlackRock's IBIT Dominates, Grayscale Bleeds
Bitcoin ETFs recorded $238.37 million in net inflows on Monday, marking five straight days of positive flows. BlackRock's IBIT drove the bulk of the action, adding $256.05 million, which more than offset outflows from Grayscale's GBTC ($24.94 million) and Fidelity's FBTC ($6.65 million). Morgan Stanley's MSBT chipped in $8.10 million and Valkyrie's BRRR added $5.81 million. Trading volume hit $2.18 billion, with net assets climbing to $100.33 billion. As of April 20, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs collectively hold 1,311,650 BTC, with IBIT alone holding 802,860 BTC.
Ether ETFs: Eighth Straight Inflow With Mixed Underlying Flows
Ether ETFs extended their inflow run to eight days, adding $67.77 million. BlackRock's ETHA led with $76.05 million, followed by ETHB ($13.19 million) and Invesco's QETH ($1.16 million). But legacy products continued to see outflows: Grayscale's ETHE lost $17.05 million, its Ether Mini Trust shed $4.43 million, and Fidelity's FETH dropped $1.16 million. Trading volume stood at $745.04 million and net assets reached $13.76 billion.
XRP and Solana ETFs Post Modest Gains
XRP ETFs recorded a $3 million inflow, led by Grayscale's GXRP ($2.22 million) and Franklin's XRPZ ($777,110). Solana ETFs added $3.28 million, driven by Fidelity's FSOL ($2.54 million), VanEck's VSOL ($568,650), and Invesco's QSOL ($172,690). Their respective trading volumes were $15.19 million and $19.96 million, with net assets at $1.08 billion and $872.16 million.
The capital flow pattern is increasingly clear: Bitcoin remains the primary magnet, Ether is gaining despite persistent outflows from Grayscale products, and smaller assets are riding the positive tide. The five-day streak is heavily tilted toward BlackRock's offerings, with other issuers still experiencing significant volatility.
