Crypto ETF markets showed a clear divergence on Tuesday, with Bitcoin and Ethereum funds returning to net outflows while Solana and XRP products attracted modest but steady capital inflows. The data suggests investors are becoming more selective, rotating away from the largest digital assets toward smaller alternatives.

Bitcoin ETFs: $74.53 Million Net Outflow

Spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded a net outflow of $74.53 million on Tuesday, reversing the minor inflows seen on Monday. The selling was concentrated among a few major funds. Fidelity's FBTC led the decline with a $45.35 million exit, accounting for the bulk of withdrawals. Bitwise's BITB followed with $16.60 million, while VanEck's HODL and BlackRock's IBIT shed $7.86 million and $4.72 million respectively. No Bitcoin ETF reported positive inflows on the day.

Trading volume remained relatively strong at $3.03 billion, but net assets dropped to $89.74 billion, reflecting the cautious tone. Despite the outflow, Bloomberg senior ETF analyst Eric Balchunas noted that Bitcoin ETFs are still up $2.5 billion for the month, just one strong trading day away from fully recovering their year-to-date flow hole.

Ethereum ETFs: $40.8 Million Net Outflow

Ether ETFs followed a similar trajectory, posting $40.80 million in net outflows. BlackRock's ETHA once again led the downturn, losing $24.97 million. Grayscale's Ethereum Mini Trust recorded a $10.02 million exit, while Fidelity's FETH saw $5.81 million in withdrawals. Additional outflows came from Grayscale's ETHE ($1.72 million) and Bitwise's ETHW ($1.52 million).

Some resilience appeared among smaller products. BlackRock's ETHB continued its steady inflow streak with $2.18 million, and 21Shares' TETH added $1.06 million. However, these gains were insufficient to offset the broader selling. Trading volume stood at $1.03 billion, with net assets closing at $12.46 billion.

Solana and XRP ETFs: Modest Inflows

While Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs struggled, altcoin ETFs attracted selective capital. XRP ETFs recorded a net inflow of $1.40 million, driven entirely by Bitwise's XRP product. Trading activity reached $13.87 million, and net assets settled at $978.92 million.

Solana ETFs delivered the strongest relative performance of the day, with total inflows of $4.64 million. Bitwise's BSOL led with $2.97 million, Franklin's SOEZ contributed $1.53 million, and Invesco's QSOL added $133,250. Trading volume came in at $47.15 million, with net assets at $881.53 million.

Market Analysis: Rotating Toward Altcoins

The divergence between Bitcoin/Ether ETFs and altcoin ETFs highlights a shift in investor behavior. While the outflows from major funds are not alarming, the consistent—albeit small—inflows into Solana and XRP products suggest that some market participants are diversifying their exposure. This is not a broad risk-on move, but rather a targeted rotation. As altcoin ETF offerings expand, such flows may become more pronounced in the coming weeks.
