Major cryptocurrencies fell over 24 hours: BTC -1.7%, ETH -1.4%, XRP -1.4%, while TRX gained 0.1%. Small-cap tokens like Liquid Mercury surged 152.7% amid market weakness.

The cryptocurrency market remained under selling pressure over the past 24 hours, with most leading digital assets posting losses. Bitcoin led the decline among major coins, while Ethereum, XRP, and other large-cap tokens also slid lower as bearish momentum persisted.

BTC drops 1.7% to $61,644; ETH, XRP, BNB fall 1.4%

Bitcoin (BTC) fell 1.7% to $61,644.40, recording over $44.28 billion in daily trading volume and a market cap of approximately $1.24 trillion. Despite the decline, BTC dominated overall trading activity. Ethereum (ETH) slipped 1.4% to $1,651.34, with $15.79 billion in volume and a $199.29 billion market cap. BNB (BNB) also dropped 1.4% to $569.98, processing $956.81 million in volume. XRP (XRP) weakened 1.4% to $1.08, generating over $2.23 billion in trading volume.

SOL dips 0.5%; TRX bucks trend with 0.1% gain

Solana (SOL) showed relative resilience, declining just 0.5% to $69.23, with $3.40 billion in volume and a market cap above $40.18 billion. TRON (TRX) stood out as the only gainer among major assets, edging up 0.1% to $0.3291, with $783.30 million in volume and a $31.21 billion market cap.

Small-cap tokens rally: Liquid Mercury surges 152.7%

While the broader market traded lower, several smaller cryptocurrencies posted notable gains. Liquid Mercury (MERC) surged 152.7% on $344,266 in volume. Atletico Madrid Fan Token (ATM) climbed 47.6% to $2.07, with volume exceeding $38.94 million. BNB Attestation Service (BAS) rose 33.6%, Definitive (EDGE) gained 31.8%, Solstice (SLX) advanced 27.5% on $62.43 million volume, SAFEbit (SAFE) added 28.5%, and PUMPCADE (PUMPCADE) rose 25.9%. Cortex (CX) and Singularry (SINGULARRY) each gained 25.6%, while Synapse (SYN) climbed 24.8% with volume surpassing $108.91 million.

The session closed with major assets under pressure, led by Bitcoin, Ethereum, and XRP. However, strong gains among select small-cap tokens showed that buying opportunities still emerged despite cautious market sentiment.
