A new Bitcoin scaling protocol, Bitcoin Everlight, is vying for attention with a validator shard system that pays rewards in native BTC instead of an in-house token. The platform claims its Routing Performance Engine can deliver up to 21% APY by redistributing transaction fees based on each shard's uptime and routing speed. This model directly contrasts with NexChain, which compensates validators in its own utility token—tying user returns to the token's volatile price.
Shard Tiers and APY Mechanics
Bitcoin Everlight's infrastructure aims to make Bitcoin payments as fast as credit cards. Traditional validation requires dedicated servers and high-bandwidth connections, but shards act as simplified gateways. Users only need to hold its BTCL utility token to automatically activate a shard once the balance crosses certain thresholds. Three tiers are available: Azure Shard ($500) yields 12% during presale, Violet Shard ($1,500) 18%, and Radiant Shard ($3,000) over 28%. Balances below the $500 mark enter a dormant state, retaining the right to activate later.
The protocol uses a performance-based engine to allocate rewards: shards with higher reliability and lower latency get a larger share of fees. According to the project, this system creates a sustainable yield based on real network activity, not minted token inflation.
Phase 1 Presale: 5-Day Window
Bitcoin Everlight is currently in Phase 1 of its presale, with BTCL priced at $0.0008. Only about five days remain before the price automatically jumps to $0.0010. The participation process is four-step: acquire BTCL during presale → automatic shard activation at required balance → join the global validator cluster → receive native BTC fee rewards.
Security and Compliance
The project has obtained ISO/IEC 27001 certification for information security, completed smart contract audits by Solidproof and Spywolf, and passed KYC checks by Vital Block and Spywolf for its core team. It also follows GDPR privacy rules and uses 24/7 on-chain monitoring. These measures aim to build “bank-grade” trust for participants.
After Phase 1 ends, the price will never be this low again, the project warns. For more details, visit the official site: https://bitcoineverlight.com/btc-economy
