Ethereum was little changed but still in positive territory, rising 0.1% to $1,973.56. Its market cap stood at $238 billion. Price action in the largest assets was relatively calm, yet the broader market showed a different tone as capital rotated into selected altcoins with sharper upside moves.
XRP and BNB Extend Gains
XRP added 0.4% to trade at $1.47. The token posted $2.64 billion in 24-hour volume and carried a market value of $89.6 billion. Those figures kept XRP among the most actively watched large-cap crypto assets in the session.
BNB also advanced, climbing 1.4% to $622.11. According to the source material, the move was tied to growing usage of the Binance platform, with Binance Smart Chain continuing to attract new projects and dApps. That support helped BNB outperform several other major tokens on the day.
Rocket Pool and Orca Lead the Altcoin Rally
The largest gains came from smaller tokens. Rocket Pool (RPL) surged 54.7% to $2.67, supported by $55.24 million in trading volume. Orca (ORCA) rose 45.2% to $1.13, with volume reaching $100.94 million. Both moves pointed to strong speculative interest in higher-volatility names.
Power Protocol (POWER) gained 43.0% to $0.3142 on $24.59 million in trading volume. GRX Chain (GRX) climbed 35.1% to $5.08, with $14.23 million traded over 24 hours. These advances were notably stronger than those seen in the largest cryptocurrencies.
Broad Strength Across Smaller Tokens
Spacecoin (SPACE) increased 28.9% to $0.01024, backed by $92.15 million in volume. Auki (AUKI), Useless Coin (USELESS), and Prom (PROM) also moved higher, gaining 24.7%, 20.7%, and 20.2%, respectively. The session showed a split market: Bitcoin held steady near $68,000, XRP and BNB stayed firm, and a group of smaller altcoins captured attention with much steeper percentage gains.
