Crypto trading was split on Friday: Bitcoin stayed in a tight range while money flowed into faster-moving altcoins. CoinGecko data showed BTC trading near $77,376 and ETH around $2,126. Both remained the market’s core assets, but neither matched the sharp moves seen across a group of smaller tokens.

XRP changed hands at about $1.37, while SOL traded near $86.63 after slight weekly declines. BNB was also relatively steady at roughly $656. Price action in the majors was muted, and attention shifted to where capital was rotating inside the broader crypto market.

BOB leads the gainers with volume above $20 million

Among the strongest performers, BOB stood out after rising nearly 80% in 24 hours. Buying pressure accelerated quickly, pushing its trading volume to more than $20 million. With Bitcoin moving sideways, traders appeared more willing to chase short-term opportunities in smaller, higher-volatility assets.

RAIL followed with a gain of more than 44%. SEDA climbed over 40%, and GRASS added roughly 30%. These moves reflected aggressive interest in lower-cap tokens, where momentum built faster during the session. Market analysts linked the breakout to a clear pickup in speculative trading.

NEAR posts one of the day’s biggest large-cap moves

Among larger altcoins, NEAR delivered one of the strongest rallies. The token advanced more than 25% over 24 hours, while daily trading volume climbed to nearly $828 million. WNEAR and Binance-Peg NEAR Protocol also moved with the same trend, showing that activity was concentrated around the broader NEAR trade.

Elsewhere, FIDA gained more than 28% and PROVE rose nearly 20%. TRX added 1.3%, while DOGE kept solid retail participation with daily volume above $716 million. By the end of Friday’s session, the pattern was clear: Bitcoin stayed stable, and the strongest momentum came from altcoins pushing sharply higher.
