Bitcoin fell to $65,565.97 as the crypto market turned lower, with Ethereum, XRP, BNB and Solana posting notable losses. A handful of smaller tokens rose sharply, highlighting intense volatility across digital assets.

A broad selloff hit the crypto market, dragging Bitcoin down to $65,565.97, just above the $65,000 mark. Trading activity picked up during the decline, with Bitcoin logging $36.52 billion in 24-hour volume. Even after the pullback, its market capitalization stood at $1.31 trillion.

Large-cap tokens moved lower across the board. Ethereum dropped 5.0% to $1,878.47, with daily volume at $15.89 billion and market value at $226.92 billion. XRP slipped 4.6% to $1.36, while BNB lost 3.7% to $599.63. Their 24-hour trading volumes came in at $2.37 billion and $1.06 billion, respectively.

Solana posts the steepest drop among major tokens

Solana led the losses among top assets, falling 7.7% to $78.64. The token recorded $3.50 billion in daily trading volume and held a market capitalization of $44.77 billion. TRON showed a much smaller move, edging down 0.3% to $0.2875, supported by $551.07 million in volume and a $27.29 billion valuation.

Other major names also stayed under pressure. Dogecoin fell 3.3% to $0.09401. Bitcoin Cash declined 5.6% to $540.62. WhiteBIT Coin dropped 3.8% to $48.82, and Cardano retreated 4.1% to $0.2651. Figure Heloc traded at $1.01, with $1.15 million in daily volume and a market cap of $15.37 billion.

Smaller tokens rise despite the wider downturn

While major cryptocurrencies weakened, several smaller tokens posted strong gains. NEET jumped 62.6% to $0.02513 on $9.59 million in volume. Adventure Gold climbed 51.1% to $0.3759, with trading activity reaching $103.38 million. PIPPIN advanced 32.1% to $0.666, while FLOCK rose 16.1% to $0.06825 and KITE added 15.9% to $0.2597.

ESP gained 15.1% to $0.08515, and GRX increased 13.8% to $10.48. The session showed a market split between weakness in large-cap assets and bursts of momentum in smaller tokens, with Bitcoin holding near $65,000 as major altcoins absorbed heavier losses.
