Bitcoin of America, a prominent virtual currency exchange registered as a money services business with the U.S. Department of Treasury (FinCEN), has announced a significant upgrade to its network of Bitcoin ATMs (BTMs). The company now enables customers to buy and sell Ethereum (ETH) at over 1,300 ATM locations across 31 states, in addition to Bitcoin (BTC) and Litecoin (LTC).

Ethereum Joins the BTM Lineup

Recognizing the surging popularity of Ethereum, Bitcoin of America moved to integrate ETH into its self-service kiosks. The company stated that the decision was driven by user demand and Ethereum's growing role in decentralized finance and NFT markets. Customers can now use cash to purchase ETH at any participating BTM location, or sell ETH for cash instantly. To find the nearest machine, users simply enter their address on the company's website.

Universal Kiosk Launch in May 2021

Earlier this year, Bitcoin of America unveiled its Universal Kiosk, a revolutionary machine that combines a traditional ATM with a cryptocurrency ATM. The kiosk offers three primary functions: dispensing cash from debit cards, enabling cash purchases of cryptocurrencies (BTC, LTC, and now ETH), and allowing users to sell crypto in exchange for cash. This all-in-one design aims to lower barriers for mainstream adoption by merging conventional banking with crypto transactions.

Host Program for Store Owners

Bitcoin of America also runs a Host Program tailored for retail store owners interested in cryptocurrencies or seeking extra income. By hosting a BTM on their premises, store owners receive passive income, increased foot traffic, and complementary marketing support. The company handles all installation, maintenance, and customer support, making it a turnkey opportunity for businesses to tap into the crypto economy.
