Bitcoin moved back above $70,000 in the latest trading session, changing hands at $70,501.82 after a 1.8% daily gain. Strong volume supported the move, and its market capitalization stayed above $1.4 trillion, keeping Bitcoin firmly in the lead across the crypto market. Price action elsewhere was far less uniform, with large-cap altcoins and smaller tokens moving in very different directions.

Ethereum ETH fell 3.7% to $2,078.45, though trading activity remained elevated. XRP rose 1.1% to $1.43. BNB slipped 1.0% to $635.19, while Solana SOL declined 1.1% to $86.24 as consolidation continued. TRON TRX added 0.7% to $0.2783, in contrast to Dogecoin DOGE, which dropped 1.6% to $0.09525.

Bitcoin strength stood out as major altcoins split

Bitcoin Cash BCH gained 1.1% to $523.40 on renewed buying interest. Cardano ADA moved the other way, falling 3% to $0.2701. The broader session pointed to a market that was still cautious, but Bitcoin’s push above a major price level helped anchor sentiment. Capital did not move evenly across the board; it rotated between sectors and individual tokens instead.

Smaller tokens drew the strongest momentum

The biggest moves came from lower-cap names. Vultisig VULT surged 67.2% to $0.2827 on a sharp increase in short-term trading volume. Pippin PIPPIN jumped 46.6% to $0.2767 as speculative demand picked up, and Warden WARD climbed 28.9% to $0.1336 on sustained buying activity. Those gains easily outpaced the major assets and shifted attention toward higher-volatility trades.

Other notable winners included BankrCoin BNKR, up 23.4% to $0.0009272; Axie Infinity AXS, up 21.2% to $1.57; Humanity H, up 16.0% to $0.1445; and GoPlus Security GPS, which added 14.8% to $0.01112. The session showed a clear pattern: Bitcoin provided the market’s main support, large-cap altcoins stayed mixed, and smaller cryptocurrencies captured attention with outsized percentage gains.

That structure left momentum concentrated in selective names rather than spread across the full market. Bitcoin set the tone, but the strongest trading interest appeared in smaller tokens posting rapid advances.
