ChainCatcher reported, citing SoSoValue data, that U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded a combined net inflow of $10.0643 million on June 16 Eastern Time. The figure represents the aggregate result after daily inflows and outflows across the spot Bitcoin ETF products were offset against each other. The data showed a mixed picture among individual funds, with BlackRock’s IBIT and Grayscale’s Bitcoin Mini Trust ETF BTC recording net inflows, while Grayscale’s GBTC recorded a net outflow.
IBIT ranks first by daily net inflow
The spot Bitcoin ETF with the largest single-day net inflow was BlackRock ETF IBIT. According to SoSoValue, IBIT recorded a daily net inflow of $16.3526 million. Its historical cumulative net inflow has now reached $62.197 billion, making it the product with the largest inflow figure mentioned in the latest daily breakdown.
The second-largest daily net inflow came from the Grayscale Bitcoin Mini Trust ETF BTC. The product recorded a single-day net inflow of $4.3529 million, bringing its historical cumulative net inflow to $2.313 billion. While its daily inflow was smaller than that of IBIT, it remained one of the products contributing positive net flows in the June 16 spot Bitcoin ETF data.
GBTC posts the largest outflow
The spot Bitcoin ETF with the largest single-day net outflow was Grayscale ETF GBTC. SoSoValue data showed that GBTC recorded a daily net outflow of $16.8051 million. Its historical cumulative net outflow has reached $26.992 billion. The outflow from GBTC was larger than IBIT’s daily net inflow, while the combined spot Bitcoin ETF category still ended the day with a total net inflow of $10.0643 million.
As of the time of the report, the total net asset value of spot Bitcoin ETFs stood at $82.062 billion. The ETF net asset ratio, defined in the report as the share of spot Bitcoin ETF market value relative to Bitcoin’s total market capitalization, reached 6.22%. Under the same data set, cumulative historical net inflows into spot Bitcoin ETFs reached $53.571 billion.
