Bitcoin moved back above the $72,000 level in the latest trading session, changing hands near $72,484 after a 5.7% daily gain. Trading activity was heavy. Market data in the report showed more than $81 billion in Bitcoin volume during the session, pointing to a clear increase in participation as prices rose across the market.
Its market capitalization climbed to about $1.44 trillion, keeping Bitcoin firmly in first place among digital assets. Ethereum also posted a strong move, rising 7.1% to roughly $2,124. Daily volume in ETH came in above $34 billion, showing that interest was not limited to Bitcoin alone and that buying extended into other large-cap tokens.
XRP traded near $1.42, up 4.3% over the same period. Dogecoin was one of the stronger performers among major cryptocurrencies, gaining 7.5% to about $0.096 while generating more than $2.8 billion in trading volume. BNB changed hands near $653 after a 3% increase, and Solana rose 5.6% to around $90.53. The advance was visible across several leading blockchain networks.
Altcoins Outpace the Majors
Outside the largest tokens, several smaller-cap assets posted much larger percentage gains in the same session. MANTRA led the list after surging 61.6% to around $0.02361, with trading volume above $352 million. PHALA (PHA) gained 37% to roughly $0.04843, supported by volume of more than $137 million.
Limitless (LMTS) and WAR each advanced 36%, with LMTS trading near $0.1658 and WAR at about $0.02664. Lombard (BARD) rose 32.4% to around $1.43 while recording over $230 million in trading activity. Freysa AI (FAI) added 28.7%, reaching approximately $0.003471.
Other tokens also joined the move. GRX Chain (GRX) climbed 26.4% to about $10.56, Shuffle (SHFL) rose 23.2% to around $0.3511, and The Grays Currency (PTGC) gained 22.9% to trade near $0.0001715. Based on the session data, the rally was broad rather than concentrated in a small group of large-cap coins.
Buying Returns Across Multiple Segments
The move started with Bitcoin reclaiming $72,000, but price action spread well beyond the market leader. Ethereum, XRP, Dogecoin, and a range of smaller altcoins all pushed higher in the same trading window. The session reflected a broad upswing across the crypto market, backed by stronger turnover in several of the most actively traded assets.
