Crypto markets split sharply over the last 24 hours. Bitcoin, XRP, and Solana all closed lower, while LAB stood out with a 68.2% rally, making it one of the strongest performers across the sector. Large-cap tokens weakened, but several smaller names moved hard in the opposite direction.

Bitcoin slips to $70,130.64 as major tokens lose ground

Bitcoin (BTC), the largest cryptocurrency by market value, fell 3.9% during the reporting period to $70,130.64. Even with the decline, daily trading volume remained heavy at more than $53.2 billion, showing that activity stayed elevated through the pullback. XRP dropped 3.1% to $1.27, while Solana (SOL) lost 2.0% to $79.72. Both joined a wider group of major assets that ended the session in negative territory.

Selling pressure extended across other large-cap tokens. BNB slipped 0.7% to $684.78. TRON (TRX) fell 3.1% to $0.3397. Hyperliquid (HYPE), which has been one of the market’s stronger assets this year, eased 0.9% to $72.25. Dogecoin (DOGE) also moved lower, declining 0.6% to $0.09927.

LAB leads the gainers list with volume above $236.9 million

LAB (LAB) moved against that broader trend and delivered the session’s biggest standout move. The token climbed 68.2% over 24 hours and posted trading volume of more than $236.9 million. That pushed LAB to the top of the daily gainers list by volume and set it well ahead of most of the market during the same period.

Other smaller-cap tokens also posted strong advances. SkyAI (SKYAI) rose 60.6%, Talus (US) gained 57.2%, Singularry (SINGULARRY) added 52.0%, and HOME (HOME) advanced 40.8%. Buttcoin (BUTTCOIN), Yei Finance (CLO), Derive (DRV), and Pieverse (PIEVERSE) each recorded gains of more than 29%.

Market action shows a split between majors and smaller tokens

The latest session did not produce a uniform move across crypto. Bitcoin, XRP, and Solana were among the weaker large-cap names, yet buying remained visible in selected smaller assets. The contrast suggests that while broad market weakness weighed on leading tokens, interest stayed active in higher-volatility parts of the market.
