Bitfinex Securities, the tokenized investment arm of crypto exchange Bitfinex, has listed five tokenized notes that give eligible investors economic exposure to a group of bitcoin treasury companies including Strategy, Metaplanet, H100 Group and Capital B. The platform also listed STRC, a floating-rate perpetual preferred stock tied to Strategy. The instruments are issued through the Luxembourg ORO (II) fund, managed by SICOS Securities. Underlying securities sit with a regulated financial institution as custodian, and the notes do not confer direct ownership of the corresponding company shares. Investors can buy in fractions from around $1, with trading supported in U.S. dollars, USDT and bitcoin. The offering is limited to qualified non-U.S. investors. Bitfinex Securities said this is the first time such products have been available for secondary trading on a regulated tokenized securities exchange. Earlier this year, in August, the platform completed a $50 million tokenized funding round for metals firm Alkemya, and listed assets on the platform have since passed $500 million. Cointelegraph reported the news.

Five tokenized notes, one rate-linked preferred

Bitfinex Securities, the tokenized investment platform operated by crypto exchange Bitfinex, has launched five tokenized notes that give eligible investors economic exposure to bitcoin treasury companies. The named companies include Strategy, Metaplanet, H100 Group and Capital B.

The platform also listed STRC, a floating-rate perpetual preferred stock linked to Strategy. The five notes are issued through Luxembourg's ORO (II) fund and managed by SICOS Securities. Their underlying securities are held in custody by regulated financial institutions, but the notes do not give investors direct ownership of shares in the corresponding companies.

Built for smaller tickets and non-U.S. investors

Investment can start at roughly $1 on a fractional basis. The products support trading in U.S. dollars, USDT and bitcoin, and are offered only to qualified non-U.S. investors.

Bitfinex Securities said this is the first time such products have been available for secondary trading on a regulated tokenized securities exchange. The listing follows a $50 million tokenized fundraising round that the platform completed in August for metals company Alkemya. Since that deal, total listed assets on Bitfinex Securities have climbed above $500 million.

Cointelegraph reported the news.
