The underlying core asset is a stockpile of high-purity nickel wire valued at $1.6 billion, or about 7 million meters, currently stored in Switzerland. The material is used across semiconductor, aerospace, and defense applications. Through the tokenized offering, Alkemya Metacore is seeking to raise $50 million. The proceeds are set to support its operating subsidiary, Green Transitional Metals, in developing and commercializing nickel products for electromagnetic shielding, aerospace and defense, semiconductors, electric industrial systems, green hydrogen, and precious and rare metal recycling. Initial subscriptions for qualified investors will remain open until Oct. 15.
