Bitget said it has integrated Nasdaq’s official market data feed, replacing a third-party aggregated source for its U.S. stock-related products and making it, in the company’s description, the first crypto platform in the industry to adopt that standard. The exchange said the change is aimed at improving the quality, traceability and consistency of market information, especially during periods of heavy activity such as the U.S. market open, earnings releases and major economic data announcements. Bitget also said it has put monitoring, verification and abnormal-data control mechanisms in place as part of the upgrade. The company stressed that the change only affects the source of market data and does not alter its existing order matching, trading execution or settlement structure, with no additional action required from users. CEO Gracy Chen said the move is part of Bitget’s Universal Exchange strategy, which focuses on expanding tradable assets while building out the infrastructure needed to support both crypto and traditional financial markets in one trading environment. The company also reiterated details about its broader platform and wallet operations, including user counts, supported assets and its $300 million user protection fund for Bitget Wallet.

Bitget said it has integrated Nasdaq’s official market data feed for its U.S. stock-related products, replacing the third-party aggregated data source it used before. The company described itself as the first cryptocurrency trading platform in the industry to adopt that standard, framing the move as an infrastructure upgrade under its Universal Exchange, or UEX, strategy.

According to Bitget, the upgrade brings official market information from Nasdaq into its stock-linked offering and is paired with monitoring, verification and abnormal-data control mechanisms designed to improve data quality. For users, the company said the updated feed is expected to deliver more stable and consistent market information during active trading windows, including the U.S. market open, earnings releases and the publication of major economic data.

Upgrade targets market data, not execution

Bitget said the new feed could be particularly useful for VIP, quantitative and institutional traders, as an official source offers stronger traceability and a more dependable basis for high-volume trading, automated strategies, pricing and risk management.

The company said the change applies only to the market data source. It does not affect Bitget’s existing order-matching or trade-execution mechanisms, and trades will not be executed or settled directly through Nasdaq. Users are not required to take any additional steps to access the upgraded data service.

Gracy Chen says infrastructure matters alongside product range

Bitget CEO Gracy Chen said, 「Building a Universal Exchange is not only about expanding the range of tradable assets. It also requires continuous work on the infrastructure that supports different markets. With Nasdaq’s official market data now integrated, users can follow U.S. equity market moves with greater reliability, while professional and institutional traders get a stronger data foundation for their needs.」

Bitget said the rollout is part of its broader UEX plan to expand global asset coverage while strengthening core capabilities in market data, liquidity and risk management, with the goal of supporting crypto and traditional financial markets within the same trading environment.

Company also outlined scale of exchange and wallet businesses

Bitget said it was founded in 2018 and now serves more than 125 million users. The company said it offers trading in more than 2 million crypto tokens, along with more than 500 tokenized stocks, ETFs, commodities, foreign exchange products and precious metals including gold. It also said its ecosystem uses AI agents that can assist with trade execution.

The company said it continues to promote crypto adoption through strategic partnerships, including MotoGP, and is working with UNICEF with a goal of providing blockchain education support to 1.1 million people by 2027. Bitget also said it currently holds a leading position in the tokenized traditional finance, or TradFi, market and offers competitive fees and liquidity services across 150 regions worldwide.

On Bitget Wallet, the company said the self-custodial Web3 wallet serves more than 100 million users and supports more than 130 major blockchain networks and millions of crypto assets. It said the wallet offers asset management, multi-chain trading, staking, payments, market data, DApp browsing and wealth management functions, with direct access to more than 20,000 decentralized applications. Bitget also said the wallet aggregates hundreds of decentralized exchanges and cross-chain bridges, supports multi-chain swaps and cross-chain interactions, and is backed by a $300 million user protection fund.
