RWA perpetual contract liquidity comes into focus
Odaily reported that Bitget and Block Scholes have released a liquidity report on RWA perpetual contracts. The report focuses on the depth and resilience of Bitget’s tokenized stock and commodity markets, using contracts such as Nvidia NVDA-USDT as a reference point. According to the data cited in the report, Bitget’s tokenized stock and commodity markets have continued to mature since 2026, and liquidity has become one of the main metrics used to assess the development of these markets.
The report highlights Nvidia NVDA-USDT as a specific example. As of mid-May, its resting order liquidity within a ±2% spread range was about $4.1 million. Bitget and Block Scholes compared that level with Bitget’s Bitcoin spot market depth and said it had reached roughly 75% of the BTC spot market depth on the platform. In the context of tokenized stock and commodity trading, order book depth within a defined price range indicates how much trading activity the market can absorb around the current price.
Liquidity recovery after a high-volatility period
The report also reviews market behavior during a period of elevated volatility in February 2026, when geopolitical conflict led to wider price movements. During that episode, spreads in the relevant markets briefly widened. However, the report states that liquidity recovered to normal levels within several days, demonstrating strong resilience under stressed conditions. This section of the report is used to describe how RWA-related markets on Bitget performed when volatility increased.
Bitget CEO Gracy Chen said the core competitive focus in tokenized markets has shifted from access to efficiency, and that liquidity is becoming one of the important indicators for measuring tokenized markets. The report’s figures on NVDA-USDT depth, its comparison with BTC spot market depth, and its observations from the February volatility period form the basis of Bitget and Block Scholes’ assessment of RWA perpetual contract market maturity.
