Bitget has reopened BTC withdrawals as part of its phased resumption plan, according to an update carried by Odaily. The exchange said the service went live on schedule, marking the first step in restoring withdrawal functions after the security incident referenced in the announcement.
Under the previously published timetable, withdrawals on ETH-related networks are scheduled to reopen at 16:00 on Sept. 29 (UTC+8), while USDT-related network withdrawals are set for 16:00 on Sept. 30 (UTC+8). Bitget added that withdrawals for other tokens, along with fiat and C2C services, will resume gradually starting at 16:00 on Oct. 2 (UTC+8).
At the time of the update, Bitget CEO Gracy Chen and Greater China head Xie Jiayin were hosting a public livestream to review the security incident, share the latest progress, and answer user questions on air.
