Bitget held an offline celebration for its eighth anniversary on Oct. 17, using the event to highlight its push toward becoming a Universal Exchange, or UEX. More than 200 industry leaders, media representatives, content creators, and platform users attended the gathering, which centered on immersive exhibition spaces, industry discussions, and a networking tea session.

The anniversary theme was "8uilt for Perfect Trades." Bitget said the event was designed to show how the platform has evolved from an exchange focused on secure and reliable crypto derivatives trading into a UEX platform that combines artificial intelligence, API infrastructure, and multi-asset trading.
Two discussions examined market change and the next eight years
During the event, Bitget hosted two core industry discussions featuring Web3 specialists, media representatives, and community educators. The sessions looked at the digital asset market from different angles, covering both its past development and future direction.

The first forum, titled "From 2018 to Now," focused on changes in market structure, information distribution, and user behavior over the past eight years. Participants said that as the market has matured, retail investors have moved away from simply chasing headlines and have become more focused on fundamentals and structural research. In their view, that shift has increased the need for trading platforms to offer more professional data and broader asset allocation tools.
The second forum turned to "the next eight years." Speakers discussed how the profile of newer investors has changed in recent years and what kind of trading education the market actually needs now. They broadly agreed that in an increasingly complex cross-market environment, disciplined position management and risk awareness matter more than before. Bitget said that view aligns with its own direction of using AI support and the UEX model to lower barriers for users while offering more complete risk management tools.
Immersive exhibition space traced Bitget’s growth
To present its development path in a more concrete way, Bitget turned the venue into a brand retrospective exhibition. The setup used interactive design elements to show both the company’s eight-year history and its UEX vision.

One of the main features was a "Growth Wall." The installation placed a minimized old logo next to a large new logo to create a visual contrast meant to represent the brand’s transformation over eight years. The new logo itself was assembled as a mosaic made from photos taken at events over the past eight years, reflecting the platform’s shared growth with its community.
The exhibition also displayed Bitget milestones and representative items, including signed Lionel Messi football boots, a pure gold football, a LALIGA jersey, MotoGP building blocks, and other memorabilia tied to international partners, along with VIP merchandise from previous years.
For audience participation, Bitget arranged two interactive segments called the "Shredder" and the "Blessing Wall." Attendees could write down their old impressions of the platform and feed them into the shredder, a gesture meant to symbolize breaking with past assumptions. They could also post their expectations for the future on the blessing wall as a way of looking ahead to the next eight years.

Bitget enters year nine with UEX expansion plans
At the close of the event, Bitget regional head Frank shared recent platform developments with guests and thanked the community for its long-term trust and support. The celebration ended with a cake-cutting ceremony for the eighth anniversary and a networking tea session.
As Bitget moves into its ninth year, the company said it will keep advancing its UEX strategy by integrating cryptocurrencies, tokenized stocks, commodities, and other global quality assets into a single trading environment. It also said it plans to keep improving infrastructure tied to market data, liquidity, and risk management in order to offer users a deeper, more efficient, and more accessible trading experience.

Risk disclosure
