Bitget has announced a new expansion of its spot market through the addition of tokenized securities from Ondo Global Markets, bringing major U.S. equities, index ETFs, and precious metals-linked products into the same trading environment as digital assets. The move further develops Bitget’s multi-asset exchange model, where users can access crypto and traditional market exposure through a single USDT-based account and trade those assets on a 24/7 basis.

New listings add major U.S. names and broad market exposure

According to the announcement, the newly listed tokenized equities include some of the most recognized companies in global markets: Tesla (TSLAon), NVIDIA (NVDAon), Apple (AAPLon), Alphabet (GOOGLon), Microsoft (MSFTon), Amazon (AMZNon), Meta (METAon), and AMD (AMDon). Beyond single-stock exposure, Bitget is also adding tokenized index ETF products including SPYon, IVVon, QQQon, IWMon, and ITOTon.

The rollout also extends into commodity-linked products. Bitget said users will be able to access IAUon and SLVon, instruments linked to gold and silver exposure, from the same spot trading interface used for crypto transactions. In practical terms, the exchange is positioning its spot market as a venue where digital assets, equity-linked tokens, ETF-linked tokens, and precious metals-related instruments can be traded alongside one another without moving between separate broker or exchange accounts.

Built on an existing partnership with Ondo

This launch builds on an established relationship between Bitget and Ondo that has expanded over recent months. In September 2025, Bitget and Bitget Wallet introduced access to more than 100 tokenized assets through Ondo Finance. More recently, Bitget said it deepened the collaboration again by adding 98 new tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs.

Bitget also shared internal market-share figures to illustrate user traction in the category. The company said trading in Ondo tokenized stocks on its platform accounted for about 73% of market share in early December and later climbed to roughly 89% within the same month. While those figures come from the company itself, they are presented as evidence of rapidly growing demand for blockchain-based access to traditional financial instruments. Bitget further stated that Ondo Global Markets is now the largest tokenized stock provider globally.

24/7 trading as a core differentiator

A central theme of the announcement is continuous access. Traditional equities and ETFs are usually tied to brokerage infrastructure, regional limitations, and fixed trading hours. By contrast, Bitget said the new listings are designed for round-the-clock trading on its spot market. That means users can respond to earnings reports, macroeconomic developments, and weekend sentiment shifts without waiting for conventional exchanges to reopen.

This structure reflects a broader trend within tokenized real-world assets, where investors increasingly expect faster settlement, wider accessibility, and a trading experience that resembles crypto markets rather than legacy brokerage systems. By bringing tokenized securities into a crypto-native interface, Bitget is effectively betting that users want fewer barriers between digital assets and traditional financial exposure.

Company executives frame launch as part of a broader strategy

Bitget CEO Gracy Chen said market movements are no longer constrained by time and that user expectations now extend beyond the traditional divide between crypto and legacy finance. In her view, the Ondo expansion brings some of the world’s most closely watched equities, index products, and precious metals into the spot market in a way that aligns with how modern users already trade.

Ian De Bode, President of Ondo Finance, described the launch as a step toward making Bitget an “everything app” powered by Ondo. He added that Ondo tokenized stocks, ETFs, and commodities are available for trading across every Bitget platform and at scale.

Part of Bitget’s “Global Alpha in One” model

Bitget said the latest rollout advances its “Global Alpha in One” strategy and adds further depth to its Universal Exchange model. The idea behind that framework is to combine crypto, tokenized real-world assets, and broader market instruments within one platform rather than forcing users to split activity across separate providers.

In its company background, Bitget said it serves more than 125 million users and offers access to over 2 million crypto tokens alongside more than 100 tokenized stocks, ETFs, commodities, FX products, and precious metals such as gold. The company also said it currently leads in the tokenized traditional finance segment with low fees and high liquidity across 150 regions. These claims were included in the sponsor-provided material accompanying the announcement.

Ondo’s role in the tokenized securities market

The release also outlines the role of Ondo Global Markets and Ondo Finance within the tokenization stack. Ondo Global Markets is described as an issuance and redemption platform for tokenized publicly traded U.S. stocks and ETFs, enabling investors outside the United States to obtain economic exposure by minting, transferring, and redeeming securities-backed tokens. According to the announcement, each token is fully backed by the corresponding stock or ETF, together with cash in transit.

Ondo Finance, meanwhile, is presented as a blockchain-based platform focused on tokenizing real-world assets and bringing institutional-quality financial products onchain. Its broader objective is to connect traditional capital markets with decentralized infrastructure in a way that improves accessibility, transparency, and efficiency.

As interest in tokenized equities and other real-world assets continues to grow, Bitget’s latest move underscores how exchanges are trying to turn spot trading platforms into unified access points for multiple asset classes. Whether that model gains sustained traction will depend on user demand, liquidity, and the evolving regulatory landscape around tokenized securities. For now, the expansion marks another step in the push to merge crypto rails with traditional market exposure.
